Prediction for Ice-Out on Long Lake in Hubbard County MN

I am 99.7% sure the ice-out date for Long Lake will be between March 29 and May 11.  That is because I have a control chart of data over the last 22 years and it is a stable process with no indication of global warming or other special causes.  The average ice-out date is April 20.

    You lose! You may be right 3 years out of 1000 but I do not want to wait around to check on that.
